My little man is a big boy now!!

Where has the time gone? I can still recall detail for detail of the day he was born. I can still remember bringing him home, introducing him to family and friends, wondering how I would make it through the first shot visit to the doctor. But today this little man we brought home from the hospital has started to turn into a big boy! He is reaching for things all the time now! He is starting to turn on his side to roll over. He is such a HAPPY baby! He loves laughing at his brothers! I always thought it was so silly to put shoes on babies. They can't even crawl what in the world do they need shoes for. BUT now I know that it is not for the normal purposes that we put shoes on our babies it is to merely keep their socks on and keep their feet warm. But shoes on my little man has made me realize that he is slowly turning into a big boy. Each day I will cherish every moment because I know that they grow up way too fast! I can't believe it's been 3 months!

Well, I wanted his shoes to be in this one but that's what I get for wanting to be in the picture.

I have not introduced one very important member of our family. Lucky is our dog. He is 3 years old and is 1/2 shepherd 1/2 lab. He was our Marley when we first got him. He chewed up everything, from shoes, to comforters (we are on our 3rd set), to tags on everything, to the couch, I could go on and on. At one point he got loose, and Mike was chasing him through our neighborhood with most of the kids from our street running behind. Lucky thought it was so great! So, without further ado, let me introduce our wonderful dog, Lucky.

We also have a cat named Marvin, but he's not as fun as Lucky. He likes to chase the laser pointer and chase the dog. (yes, that's right the cat chases and attacks the dog) He even makes this sound like the karate kid before he attacks Lucky. This does not happen very often...so I had to capture the moment.

Bath time with Elliot

I love bath time with Elliot. He's not as thrilled, but puts up with it for his Mommy! How can you not love his little face!

Our new bundle of joy

First, you'll have to bear with me as I have NO clue what I'm doing. That being said I'm gonna backtrack to October 20, 2011, the day our sweet baby boy Elliot Liam was born. We are so very blessed to have him in our lives. He has changed our family in so many ways. The boys love having him (minus the crying) around. Mike and I could not be happier! He is loved by so many people, my family and Mike's family have been so amazing! The first couple of months were the basic no sleep, attempting to get into a routine, realizing that babies do not have a routine, and constant feedings. WOW! Motherhood has been a real adjustment! It's the best feeling in the world, but also the hardest thing I've ever done.
Elliot is now 3 months old. He is 13.4 lbs and growing out of everything! Last week he decided he was too big for his swaddle blanket and now sleeps like a big boy! He has grown out of his bassinet and now is moving into a pack and play. I can't believe next month he gets to start on cereal. Elliot loves going to work with me at the daycare. He loves the kids and they are quite fond of him too!

Big brother Dalton and Elliot at Christmas 2011. We sure do miss him! (he lives in Georgia, but coming here soon!! We can't wait!)

Marvin the cat doesn't know what to think!

Jordan had his first wrestling match last night and pinned both of his opponents! I made Dean's List last semester. Conner is signing up for soccer in the Spring and "learning" (with Mike and Jordan in the house it's hard not to already know) how to wrestle. I am counting down the days until my 30th birthday! (not really) But I have to say, I have so much to be thankful for a wonderful husband, some amazing kids, a beautiful baby, a great job, the ability to pursue my education, and the best family ever! I can't wait to see what the next 30 years has in store for me! I could write about all the wonderful memories from the last 3 months, but I am too busy for that! Instead, I'll start from here! Enjoy!
